If you know me well, you’ll know that I rarely get sick. Overall, I’m a pretty healthy guy. I’m vomit-free since the start of the new millennium! But this weekend, I thought I was going to die. I had a mixture of a cold/flu/cough/bronchitis. I really don’t know what it was….but it was bad. Today, I’m still ill. It’s been more than week and I’m still coughing.
I was talking to my grandma the other day. She had a top secret family recipe for me to try. Boil water and add in lemon as well as a little bit of whiskey. “WISKEY???” I said. I still laugh at her comment to this day. But seriously, how come we have not cured the cold?
I’d love to be one of those people who come up with a simple idea and make millions off of it. It’s like that kid who came up with the Million Dollar Webpage. He’s making zillions off of it!

Because chances are, Alex Tew, a 21-year-old student from a small town in England, is cleverer than you. And he is proving it by earning a cool million dollars in four months on the Internet.
Selling porn? Dealing prescription drugs? Nope. All he sells are pixels, the tiny dots on the screen that appear when you call up his home page.He had the brainstorm for his million dollar home page, called, logically enough, www.milliondollarhomepage.com, while lying in bed thinking out how he would pay for college.
The idea: turn his home page into a billboard made up of a million dots, and sell them for a dollar a dot to anyone who wants to put up their logo. A 10 by 10 dot square, roughly the size of a letter of type, costs $100.
So, here’s my challenge…let’s come up with the cure for the common cold. If we do, I promise that we’ll make way more money than this Alex kid ever dreamed of!

Hey Love of my life…..hows comes I didn’t know you were that sick until the other day, then to have to read the worse on your blog? Bless your heart! You needed your mamma! So….when are you moving the Rick Hall show to sunny AZ?
Hugs and Kisses….xoxo
