Fill a Shoebox. Help a child.0

From Silver City to the world! All this week, First Baptist Church of Silver City (2300 N. Swan Street — (575) 388-1582) will be collecting shoe boxes for underprivileged children in other countries.

Join in!  Pack a shoebox filled with school supplies, toys, necessity items, hard candy and a letter of encouragement. Step-by-step shoe box packing instructions are available at on the Samaritan’s Purse website.  If you’re in the area, stop on by (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon. through Fri., 1 to 2 p.m. Sat., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, and 8 to 9 a.m. Mon. Nov. 22) with your contribution.
