Hi…I’m Rick! As I bet you can see, I’m a pretty young guy. Many listeners are shocked when they meet me face-to-face as they picture me as a man in his 40′s, which is not the case.

Though he wasn’t born here, Rick is no stranger to the west. Rick is an Orange County, CA native turned Midwesterner, now turned Westerner. Even as a little boy growing up in suburban Chicago, Rick dreamed of being on the radio. However, the telemarketing industry lured him in to the point where for six months, he attempted to sell insurance over the phone. After realizing that interrupting families having dinner to sell insurance wasn’t a lucrative or respectful line of work, Rick packed up his things and realized his love for radio, stopping in cities such as Peoria IL, Rockford IL, Milwaukee WI, and Chicago IL.
During the summer of 2007, Rick married his high school sweetheart, Sarah. On the advice of everyone around him, Rick avoided drinking the water while honeymooning in Mexico. However, Rick failed to heed one important fact – wearing your wedding ring in the ocean isn’t a great idea. While boogie boarding, his ring slipped off and went out to sea. It was no where to be found.
Naturally, Rick LOVES music and discovering unheard of artists. Some of his favorites include artists like Lifehouse, Nada Surf, Brandon Heath, & Mat Kearney to groups like Relient K, Dave Barnes, Johnny Cash, Sanctus Real, Brandon Heath, & Keith Urban.
Today, Rick, his wife Sarah, and daughter June reside in Las Vegas. They’re philanthropists at heart, taking an interest in heart research, seeing the improvement of our nation’s medical system, and global issues such as disaster relief, AIDS, and hunger. Chances are you’ll find the two of them together enjoying their favorite meal of the day, brunch (Eggs Benedicts…yummy!), or sipping a latte at an eclectic coffeehouse.
